Miyako Narita | Artist & Videographer

‘Point and click. Sounds simple until you consider what is framed and what might be outside of the framed at the point of clicking. And who of course is doing the clicking. Miyako Narita’s clicking is all about encountering fascinating fragments of everyday life. Her camera is a tool of connection between subject and self... a means by which we can observe Miyako’s vision of the world. There seem no rules to her practice yet her Japanese background give each work a sense of Seijaku or energised calm.'
